Curriculum

The International School of Beijing has committed itself to a ‘standards’ based curriculum.

Based upon extensive research we have identified the best standards available for each subject area K-12. These standards and their accompanying benchmarks form the essential structure of the academic curriculum of the school.

Once completed the academic curriculum for each subject will be documented in the form of:

Unit plans will then be developed using the structure and format of ‘Understanding by Design’.
