ISB Outdoor Learning Environment

Here at the International School of Beijing we have been very fortunate over the last few years to see our school continually change its look and structure as we strive to make available the best facilities in the world to our students, staff and community.

We have a beautiful purpose-built campus with so much to offer in regards to facilities, but one of the latest editions has truly stood out.  The Outdoor Learning Environment here at ISB is an amazing structure that not only provides our students with playground equipment, grass fields, and sand to dig in, but is quickly becoming another classroom for teachers from numerous divisions and departments throughout the school.  Science, math, chinese language and culture, art, P.E. and various other programs can all find the OLE to be a useful educational tool and teaching venue. 

As fortunate as we are, there is still a hidden treasure that many people don’t know about.  The OLE has a sibling we call the Courtyard OLE! As the Main OLE caters to the students from grades 1-5, the Courtyard OLE is an age-appropriate facility that mirrors its larger counterpart and caters to the needs of our darling students in Early Childhood 3 up to Kindergarten.

As the school continues to adapt and change, the one thing that remains unchanged is the fact that we have been very fortunate and are priviledged to have such spectacular facilities and resources available to all of us in the ISB community.
